About Dimple Birdee | Ward 5 Councillor Candidate in Kitchener
Hi, My name is Dimple Birdee, and I am a candidate for Ward 5 Councillor in the City of Kitchener.
I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) by profession and a local business owner. Through my work, I have helped individuals and families navigate complex immigration processes and important life transitions. My profession has taught me the importance of listening carefully, understanding people’s concerns, and finding practical solutions that make a meaningful difference in their lives.
I have been a proud resident of Kitchener’s Ward 5 for the past three years, and I am grateful to be part of such a diverse and growing community. Living here has allowed me to understand the opportunities and challenges our neighbourhoods experience every day. I believe strong representation begins with being connected to residents, listening to their concerns, and working together to find solutions.
As a local business owner, I understand the dedication, commitment, and challenges involved in building and managing a small business. Through my restaurant business, I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and experiences. This has strengthened my ability to communicate, collaborate, and understand the needs of local businesses and the people who contribute to our community.
As a parent, I understand the importance of creating safe, welcoming neighbourhoods where families can grow and feel supported. I understand parents’ concerns about safe streets, quality parks and recreational spaces, strong community connections, and family-friendly environments where children can learn, play, and build a strong future.
